Notice of program availability

 The Rural Office of Community Services, Inc. (ROCS) announces the availability of the HOME Homeowner Rehabilitation Program.  This program will assist home-owners with home rehabilitation measures to their owner occupied homes.  To qualify for this program, household income must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income.  Funding for this program is provided by SD Housing Development Authority HOME Program. This program is available to income eligible homeowners in South Central and South Eastern South Dakota on a priority scale and a waiting list will be utilized. The initial application period will be open for 60 days beginning December 15, 2019.  Eligible counties include:  Aurora, Bon Homme, Brule, Buffalo, Clay, Charles Mix, Davison, Douglas, Gregory, Hanson, Hutchinson, Jerauld, Jones, Lyman, Mellette, Sanborn, Tripp, Todd, Union and Yankton.
