Easter Day guests in the Lorraine Borah home were Dave and Mike Borah; Lee and Cathy Borah; Wayne Borah, Tim & Roxanne Borah, Ambur and Nathan, Oacoma, and Kayla Hook, Mitchell.
Don and Sony Manger and Steve, Dee, Austin, Tyler and Andy Resick, Kimball, visited in the parental and grand parental Laurel and Gerry Houchin home Easter Sunday evening. Laurel and Gerry had just returned home after spending the winter in the southern states.

Friday, April 2, Curly and Josie Schoenfelder visited in the Jim and Anita Steinfeld home, Mitchell, and were overnight guests. Jack Casey joined them for cards. Saturday and Sunday they were in Parkston visiting their daughters and families. They attended the Prom Grand March in which their grand daughter Brittany Beckett participated. Margie Streitz was caring for Kyle, Ryan and Tanner Hohn as their parents, Melody and Brian, were in Texas. Sunday, after attending church in Dimock, Margie and Tatum Streitz; Kyle, Tanner and Ryan Hohn; Reno, Barb and Lindsey Roth; Nikki Beckett and Curly and Josie attended a pancake feed at Ethan.

A week ago Friday Alyce Faye Kotz and Kathy and Gillyanne Redisi, Rockford, Illinois, came to spend several days with parents, grand parents and great grand parents John and Marie Houchin. Tuesday they returned home.

Kennebec seniors meet

Seven Senior Citizens met at the Senior Center Friday afternoon, April 16, 2004. It was so nice to have Gerry Houchin join the group again. Bingo callers were June Brammer, Ethel Riggs, Marie Houchin and Doreine Anderson. Marie Houchin won first bingo; June Brammer won black out bingo. Gladys Manger was hostess. Ethel Riggs will be the hostess next Friday.

Easter weekend: Brian, Melody, Kyle, Ryan and Tanner Hohn, Parkston, arrived Friday and were weekend guests in the parental and grand parental Curly and Josie Schoenfelder home; they were supper guests. Saturday dinner guests were the above and Ken, Marilyn, Tom and Kendra Walling. Later Margie Streitz, Parkston, and RaKel Streitz, Minnesota, joined the group for visiting. Later they all attended the Ed Stiefvater Retirement and birthday party in the evening. In the afternoon Ryan and Tanner Hohn participated in the Easter Egg hunt at the Court House. Kyle Hohn stayed with his grand parents to watch the men work cattle.

Easter dinner guests in the David and Judy Mertens home were Mary Beth, Willem, Francine and Miles Hoffman, Leola; Ken and Kyle Mertens, Sioux Falls; Alyce Faye Kotz, Kathy and Gillyanne Redisi, Rockford, Illinois, and Marie Houchin.

Curly Schoenfelder visited Paul Streitz last week.

Easter Saturday and Sunday, Jared, Courtney and Denise Anderson were in Java in the parental and grand parental Annie Witlock home.

Darrell Anderson, Rapid City, spent Easter Saturday and overnight in the home of his brother, Rollie. Saturday evening they attended the Ed Stiefvater Retirement and Birthday party.

Dick and Sandy Dyson returned home Easter weekend after spending the winter in a warmer area. Melissa Dyson, Chamberlain, spent Easter weekend in the parental Dick and Sandy Dyson home.

Saturday afternoon Gerry Houchin; Shirley Thomas, Judy Mertens and Dee, Austin and Tyler Resick, Kimball, visited in the John and Marie Houchin home.

Easter Sunday Alan Dyson, Dick and Sandy Dyson and Melissa Dyson visited over dinner at Al's Oasis Cafe, Oacoma.

Eva Miller and Delores Johnstone attended the Grand March, Presho, Saturday evening.

Gerry Houchin was a Sunday morning coffee guest in the Don and Sony Manger home.

Cindy Feichtner, Pierre, was a Friday overnight guest in the parental Ray and Jean Moore home. Saturday Betty Jean Mertens and Cindy were in Mitchell. Enroute home they were at the Chamberlain High School Grand March in which Desirae and Arielle participated.

Darline Miller visited Jean Moore Easter Monday.

Wednesday Ed and Grace Stiefvater were in Pierre on business.

Tuesday Janet, Aaron and Adam Schindler, Reliance, were supper guests in the Dick and Sandy Dyson home.

Mr. and Mrs., Bob Moreland, Norfolk, Nebraska, were guests in the Ed and Grace Stiefvater home Friday and Saturday. Friday evening they all took a tour of the area including the cemetery and south of town where Grace grew up.

Wendell and Ardene Gilman were in Pierre Thursday for Wendell's doctor appointment.

Guy Caslin, Hartford, spent Thursday until Saturday evening in the parental Phillip Caslin home. Saturday Guy helped Marty Mortenson, Presho, work cattle.

Phillip Caslin attended the Church Dedication, Kimball, Sunday.

Troy and Monica Swanson, Kimball, hosted a post Easter Dinner Sunday for Mary Mick and Rodney Mick; Don, Melinda, Liam, Brady, Katie and Allie McManus, Reliance.
